Kick Off: 12:30 GMT

Venue: Etihad Stadium

It’s another weekend and yet another crunchy game for Chelsea, and it’s what many, including Antonio Conte has billed as a huge test for the Blues.

Chelsea currently top the league with 31 points, and Manchester City are in 3rd position, but it’s just one point separating the two teams, making the tie the game everyone is looking forward to, and to many, it may well decide the title.

This fixture has always been a difficult one for Chelsea in recent years, and the Blues couldn’t score a goal against the Citizens last season in the Premier League.

Manchester City have been a difficult side for Chelsea in recent times. In the last 6 league meetings between both sides, Chelsea won three of those games while City won two, with one ending in a draw. In fact, Chelsea have lost six of their last eight games away to Manchester City in all competitions.

Manchester City might not be perfect yet, but they are winning games. City have lost one of their last 15 league games, winning nine and drawing five.

However, Chelsea’s attack can hope to break City’s porous defence. City have kept just two clean sheets in their last 16 league fixtures.

If Chelsea must win this game, then Sergio Aguero must be kept quiet. He has scored 16 times in 18 games for City this season, including 10 in 11 league matches.

My prediction: It’ll be a tough game for the Blues, but a 1-1 draw wouldn’t be a bad result for Chelsea.
