It’s been 6 months since Mikel Obi last played a Premier League game for Chelsea. He hasn’t even featured in any cup game this season, neither has Antonio Conte named him in any matchday squad, but his agent John Shittu reveals that his future is bright and there are many teams interested in the Nigeria captain.

He said: “His future is very bright, so we are having meetings, here and there, and we have to work towards the January window. We have meetings with different clubs and we are very clear about the situation. We are just waiting for the window to open and we will go the best way forward for Obi Mikel.”
