21-year-old Chelsea defender Nathan Ake who is currently on loan at Bournemouth has revealed he is in regular contact with Chelsea.
Ake has impressed for Bournemouth after a rocky start and the young defender has scored three goals already for Bournemouth.
“You’ve got a loan department,” Ake told Soccer AM.
“You’ve got people like Paulo Ferreira and Eddie Newton, who work in the department and they send you clips. If you play, they send you things you have to improve on.
“They keep in contact with you and without interfering with Bournemouth, they try to help you as well and try to make my defending better.”
Ake also dismissed suggestions that the advice he gets from Chelsea might interfere with what Bournemouth’s coach wants.
“No, not really,” Ake added.
“They (Chelsea) don’t want to interfere, they show me clips and what they think.
“But they tell me as well, if the manager (Eddie Howe) says another thing, you do that because you’re at Bournemouth now and you’re learning from this manager.
“But they are just trying to give me other little bits to help me more.”
