Oscar has finally completed his move from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG for £60 million, a fee that broke Chelsea’s record sale.
The deal also means that Oscar’s transfer fee is the 7th highest in the world, and the 4th highest fee to have been commanded in the Premier League.
Gareth Bale’s £85.3 million move to Real Madrid from Tottenham is the highest transfer fee a Premier League club has commanded, followed by the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United to Real Madrid for £80 million. Luis Suarez’s £64.98 million move from Liverpool to Barcelona is 3rd in the list, and then Oscar’s £60 million move from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG.
Oscar joined Chelsea from Internacional for £25m in 2012 and scored 38 times in 203 appearances for the club. He’d move to his new club when the transfer window opens in January.
