Real Madrid attacking midfielder James Rodriguez wants a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu after falling down the pecking order at Real Madrid.
According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid have told James Rodriguez that he can leave in January. Real Madrid are willing to let Rodriguez leave after they had their transfer ban reduced which means Madrid can sign new players next summer.
Rodriguez is reportedly being offered to Premier League sides but the Colombian captain prefers a move to Chelsea according to Daily Mail.
Rodriguez earlier revealed his intention to leave Real Madrid in January.
“I can’t assure I will stay at Real Madrid,” Rodriguez said.
“I have offers and seven days left to think about my future.
“I am happy in Madrid but I want to play more. I have a bitter feeling as I wanted to play in the final but I am happy for the title. It’s my 15th title in my career.”
