Oscar’s impending £60 million transfer move to Chinese club Shanghai Shenua is the biggest transfer rumour so far, as it would make the Brazilian one of the highest paid footballers in the world, while also enriching Chelsea for a player that isn’t really in the first team.
From Antonio Conte’s interview, one can deduce that the Chelsea manager already knows what to do with the Oscar transfer kitty.
Chelsea could leave themselves short in the attacking midfield department if they allow this move to go through, but Conte has suggested that a solution could be found.
When asked if he had discussed replacing Oscar with the Chelsea board, he said: “Yes, I always talk with the club, with the board.
“I explain my thoughts with every situation. It’s normal with a club, you try to make the best decision.
“There are situations that are amazing. It’s very difficult to try to solve the situation in the best way.”
