Chelsea is set to play Manchester City on Saturday on the back of a seven-match winning run. Former Chelsea coach, Ray Wilkins revealed the secret to beating Manchester City is breaking through City’s first press.
Wilkins believes Chelsea’s pace in advanced areas can hurt Manchester City because Manchester City’s defence is vulnerable.
“Chelsea have so much pace in advanced areas that if they can break through City’s first press and make their pass a good one, then they are right at the vulnerable back four,” Wilkins told Sky Sports.
“I think Bravo has been vulnerable in goal too. I don’t think he’s better than Joe Hart. Bravo has caused them problems and there has been indecision in the City back four.”
