Chelsea will be without Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante for the next game against Bournemouth, after they both got their 5th yellow card of the season against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The pair has started every league game for Chelsea this season, and have been an important part of Conte’s team. But Nemanja Matic has assured that with the quality in the squad, Costa and Kante wouldn’t be missed.

Matic said: “We don’t have Diego [Costa] and [N’Golo] Kanté for the next game. We will have to cope with that. We have situations like this during the season and also the other teams will have their own problems.”

“We will have to continue, even though they are important players for us. The next game we play at home so we have to give our best to take all three points.”

“Everyone [in the squad] is important, as we know in football, because you never know who is going to play the next game. I am very happy because you can see in training everyone is physically ready and they are going to be important for us.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
