Michy Batshuayi is yet to start a Premier League game since his move from Marseille during the summer, and it’s even getting incredibly difficult for him to come in from the bench. This has prompted fellow Londoners West Ham, to pick an interest in the Belgian.
Batshuayi has apparently held talks with Chelsea and been assured that he does have a future at Stamford Bridge, though he is struggling to see playing time at the moment due to Diego Costa’s superb form.
According to The Sun, West Ham’s search for more firepower up front could now see them try their luck with a loan bid for Batshuayi when the transfer window re-opens in January.
West Ham are in need of firepower upfront that’ll help them move away from the relegation zone, and they believe the 23-year-old who has scored three goals for Chelsea this season despite being limited to bench roles, will be an interesting choice.
