On paper, Hull City should be easy meat for Chelsea, but football isn’t won on paper, but on the pitch.
After watching Swansea frustrate Liverpool at Anfield, it dawned on me that Chelsea have to be extra focused on the task at hand and forget that we have lost only one game since the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal, back in September.
Marcos Alonso has urged the Chelsea team to forget about team’s form in the past and focus on the task at hand — Hull City.
He said: “The team is playing very well and we’ve just got to keep it going and think game by game, not think about games in the past or how we did last week.
“Every week we have a new challenge and we have to face each of them with 100 per cent focus to stay at the top of the table.”
