The debate about who the assist king is between Cesc Fabregas and Mesut Ozil is indeed pointless as there is only one assist king in Europe.
Fabregas came off the bench to provide the assist for Gary Cahill’s goal as Chelsea won Hull City 2-0 at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
According to a start by Whoscored.com, Fabregas has averaged an assist more often (every 72 minutes) this season than any player in Europe’s top 5 leagues with more than two.

His assist for Cahill’s goal means Fabregas has now provided the joint-third most assists in Premier League history.
101 – Only Ryan Giggs (162) and Frank Lampard (102) have provided more PL assists than Cesc Fabregas (101, level with W Rooney). Conductor.
