Chelsea were dogged in their game against Stoke City yesterday, and the win ensured Chelsea won 13 games in a row.

The record for the most consecutive win in a single season is set by Arsenal, as Arsene Wenger’s men won 13 consecutive games in the season of 2001/2002.

Chelsea’s win against Stoke ensured Chelsea have won 13 consecutive games in a single season, matching Arsenal’s record. A win against Tottenham on January 4th will meet Arsenal’s record of most consecutive Premier League wins (14), while also surpassing the current record for most wins in a single season.
