Chelsea have sent out three youngsters on loan to Swindon Town, and they will spend the rest of the season with the League One club.

Fankaty Dabo, Charlie Colkett and Islam Feruz have each signed with the League One side, who currently sit 19th in the table.

Young midfielder Charlie Colkett is the juicy package of the deal, and had spent the first half of the campaign with Bristol Rovers, where he made 17 appearances and scored three times, while Feruz played eight times for Belgian side Mouscron. It will be the first loan of England Under-20 defender Dabo’s career.

Islam Feruz is the one with the most point to prove. The former Celtic wonderkid was tipped for greatness in the game once and remains the youngest player ever to be capped by Scotland Under 21 when he played against Italy when he was just 16. However, his development hasn’t gone as planned, as he had made 5 previous unsuccessful loan spells, and with this new deal to Swindon Town who are fighting a relegation battle, he definitely has a point to prove.
