Chelsea U18 defeated Birmingham U18 5-0 to progress to the next round of the FA Youth Cup, and Blues captain Mason Mount was a hatrick hero for the youngsters.
He produced an astonishing solo move to open the scoring for Chelsea on the 37th minute. Picking the ball up 30 yards from goal, the midfielder advanced dangerously, twisting and turning beyond Louis Yuill before firing a rising left-footed drive into the roof of the net — a goal that the likes of Lionel Messi will be proud of.
🏆 How about this from Mason Mount! Our Under-18s cruised to victory in the FA Youth Cup last night.
