Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola are new to the Premier League, but it’s Conte who has been the shining light despite the huge reputation Guardiola came with.
Conte has sympathised with the Manchester City manager and has some words of wisdom for him. He said: “I think in general when you change country and you find a new habitat and language and you have to bring your method and philosophy, it’s not easy.
“It’s important to take time to work with your players and to try to bring your method, but for sure it’s not easy.
“It’s more difficult if you are a coach and not a manager.”
Conte had the edge when Chelsea faced Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, and it was the Blues who won 3-1.
