Oscar left Chelsea to play in the Chinese Super League this January transfer window, and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte believes academy product Ruben Loftus-Cheek is the right man to step up and replace the Brazilian.

He said: “I trust all my players. Ruben is a player with great quality. Now I think after Oscar left he could have the right space to show me and the club his potential.”

Loftus-Cheek was set to go on loan this January, but his performance against Peterborough in the FA Cup, has sparked belief that the youngster can make it.
