Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed he would use Chelsea’s FA Cup clash with Peterborough as an opportunity to start Michy Batshuayi and Kurt Zouma.

“I have a good opportunity in this game to see Michy from the start. This is important,” Conte said.

“Diego is playing a lot. I think it could be a good opportunity for Michy to show me his progress.

“Zouma is ready to start. I’m pleased for him. He deserves this. It’s a good opportunity for him.

“His injury was very bad. I knew this, I talked with my club about it in May. For this reason we knew he needed more time.

“But now he’s in good shape, he’s ready to play and ready to resume his career.”
