CONTE: WE HAVE TO IMPROVE

Chelsea fell to a 2-0 loss to Tottenham, after poor defending at the back, and Conte has admitted that the players have to improve.

He said: “When you concede two goals, for sure you have to improve. My team are top of the table because we are working a lot. This league is very tough and it is important to continue to work.”

Up next for Chelsea is an FA Cup fixture against Peterborough on Sunday, before resuming Premier League duties with a trip to champions Leicester on January 14.
