Diego Costa missed the game against Leicester City, and while Marcos Alonso and Pedro shone, everyone knew Costa would have scored had he featured in the game.

After the week-long reports of his bust-up with Conte and the Chelsea fitness coach, Costa returned to the starting lineup against Hull City, and he did what he knows best — score.

Prior to the game and even after the game, the likes of Gary Cahill and Thibaut Courtois as well as some other of his Blues teammates showed support for Costa.

His goal against Hull from a Victor Moses assist also showed that Costa has the backing of his teammates. According to a stat by OptaJoe, it revealed that with Victor Moses setting up his goal that Costa has had more different players assist him than anyone else in the Premier League.
