All is now set for Diego Costa to play his second game for Chelsea this year, having not played for the Blues since the 2-0 loss to Spurs.
The Spain international missed the game against Leicester City, after a reported row with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte over fitness concerns, coming after a monster offer from China.
According to Sky Sports News HQ, Costa, 28, has returned to training with the first team after meeting at Chelsea’s Cobham training base on Tuesday—he had previously trained on his own for two days, and he’s in line to start against Hull City.
Costa’s absence wasn’t felt against Hull City, but relations between the 28-year-old and the Chelsea coaching staff also now seem to have smoothed. The in-form striker was seen hugging the Chelsea coaches in the club’s training ground, and he wore a lively face.
