Cesc Fabregas might be seeing game time now under Antonio Conte, but he rarely gets to start a game for the Blues, and sometimes, he doesn’t even play.
Antonio Conte prefers the combination of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic in midfield, but Fabregas is still willing to remain at the club and fight for his shirt.
Fabregas has only made 5 Premier League starts this season, and Chelsea have been linked with Arturo Vidal and Franck Kessie this window, which might even limit Fabregas’ chances.
However, reports say the Spaniard is willing to show Conte what he has to offer, and his recent statement also proves so.
Speaking after the win against Hull City, Fabregas said: “I play football to win and enjoy.
“When I don’t play I’m sad and I don’t enjoy it but I’m happy the team is doing well. Football is my life, it’s everything to me.
“Every time I’m on the pitch I try to do my best. In this game it went well again so I just need to keep going and show the manager I deserve to play.”
