Chelsea great John Mikel Obi left Chelsea for Chinese outfit Tianjin TEDA this January after failing to make an appearance for Chelsea this season.
Mikel’s boss at Tianjin TEDA is former Porto midfielder Jaime Pacheco, who has had 10 different managerial appointments in 13 years.
Mikel revealed he has been impressed with the level of coaching in the Chinese Super League.
“I do not think there’s a lot of difference in the level of coaches now,” Mikel told Chinese media outfit NetEase Sports.
“I think (Jamie) Pacheco is a high-level coach and he was a very good player.
“Training is done very well, with a very high level.”
