Chelsea skipper John Terry was shown a straight red card during Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over Peterborough.

John Terry has now revealed he would appeal the red card.

Terry wrote on Instagram: “What a great feeling being back on the pitch today, albeit only for 67 minutes after my red card which I will be appealing and hope the FA and the ref will look at this and realise I didn’t touch Lee Angol.

“Great win for the boys and into the next round of the FA Cup.

“Well done to Pedro, Michy and Willian. Congratulations to Kurt Zouma on your comeback mate, great to have you back.”
