Chelsea midfielder Kenedy, has decided to clear the air about certain remarks some tabloids claim he made.

The 20-year-old returned to Stamford Bridge last month following an unsuccessful loan spell with Watford and was linked with a loan move to Brazil (Flamengo).

Kenedy dismissed the rumours on a live post on his instagram page, and it was claimed that he told Costa: ‘Flamengo are shit’.

Kenedy took to instagram to reveal that the claims are untrue.

He posted, (as interpreted by Metro): “Clarification note! Today when I woke up I learned that a certain newspaper published a story saying that I spoke badly about a club in Brazil.

“I would like to clarify that this matter is a total lie, because at no point did I say what has been mentioned. Whoever was watching live yesterday knows that!

“I want you to know that I am professional and I would never lack with respect with any institution. I’m a Chelsea player and I keep working to give my best to my club.”
