Kick Off: Saturday, January 14, 2016. 17:30 GMT

Venue: King Power Stadium

It’s Match Day 21 in the Premier League, and we are in the second half of the season; a crucial point where teams have to double their efforts or risk losing out.

After 20 games played, Chelsea are top of the table with 49 points, while Leicester City are 15th with 21 points.

In this fixture last season, Leicester City won Chelsea 2-1, and it was the game that marked the end of former manager, Jose Mourinho. While the fixture also ended the season for both clubs at Stamford Bridge last campaign; a game that ended in a 1-1 draw.

In Chelsea’s title-winning season, two seasons ago, Chelsea won both legs against Leicester City, 2-0 in Stamford Bridge and 3-1 at the King Power Stadium.

Chelsea have won three of their last four Premier League visits to Leicester.

Chelsea have always been dominant in this fixture, and prior to the loss against Leicester City last season, the last time Chelsea tasted defeat to Leicester was back in February 2001.

Leicester’s defence have been poor this season, and have shipped in 31 goals already, more than two times what Chelsea have conceded (15). Leicester have only won Chelsea just once in the last nine league meetings (D1, L7) between the two sides.

History suggests Chelsea will win this game, as only once before have Chelsea lost their opening two Premier League matches of a calendar year – in 1993, when they were beaten 4-2 at home by Manchester City and 3-0 at Nottingham Forest.

My Prediction: Leicester City 1 v 3 Chelsea
