Kick Off: Tuesday, January 31, 2017. 20:00 GMT

Venue: Anfield

It’s a huge game for both clubs, and it’s the kind of game fans look forward to.

Chelsea top the table with 55 points, and Liverpool are 4th with 45 points.

The last time the two sides met, Chelsea lost at home to Liverpool 2-1, but it would definitely be a different fixture this time around. In the reverse fixture, Liverpool were in form heading into the game, while Chelsea were shaky heading into that game. And now, the table has turned; while Chelsea have been dominant, Liverpool have been in dismal form.

It’s been two seasons since Chelsea last won Liverpool. Last season, Liverpool beat Chelsea 3-1 at Stamford Bridge, meaning they have won Chelsea in the last two games at Stamford Bridge, and at Anfield last season, it ended in a 1-1 draw.

In our title-winning season, Chelsea won Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield, while playing a 1-1 draw in Stamford Bridge.

In the last ten games in all competitions between Liverpool and Chelsea, Liverpool have won 2, while Chelsea have won 4, with 4 ending in draws.

Chelsea will need to take the game to Liverpool this time, as Liverpool are unbeaten in the last four league meetings with Chelsea (W2, D2).

However, Liverpool are in poor form and have lost their last three games in all competitions, while Chelsea haven’t dropped points since losing to Spurs 2-0. In fact, Chelsea have won 15 of their last 16 league games, with their only defeat coming away to Tottenham.

My Prediction: This will be a tough test for Chelsea, but it’s one the Blues will overcome. Liverpool 1 vs Chelsea 2.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
