Kick Off: Wednesday, January 4, 2017. 20:00 GMT

Venue: White Hart Lane

It’s a London derby again, and one that hold so much significance. Tottenham host Chelsea tonight, and it’ll be a cracker.

Chelsea are top of the table with 49 points, while Spurs are in 5th place with 39 points.

Chelsea have been in amazing form, and have won 13 games in a row, while Tottenham have won their last 4 games, with very impressive figures. They have won four league games in a row, scoring 13 goals in the process and conceding just three.

There was no win in both league games between these two sides last season. It was a goalless affair in White Hart Lane, while Chelsea came from behind to draw Spurs 2-2 at Stamford Bridge, in a thrilling game that ended Tottenham’s title hopes.

In the last 8 league meetings between Chelsea and Tottenham, Chelsea have won 3 and 4 ended in a draw, while Spurs won just once.

White Hart Lane hasn’t been an easy ground for Chelsea, as Chelsea have won only one of their last 10 Premier League matches at White Hart Lane (D5, L4) – the 4-2 victory on 20 October 2012, and it’s only on this ground that Spurs have defeated Chelsea in the Premier League. Tottenham have won only four of their 49 league matches against Chelsea (D19, L26), with all four of those victories coming at White Hart Lane.

Only once in the Premier League has a side won more points than Chelsea’s 49 after 19 games – that was also Chelsea in 2005-06 (52).

The Blues have won six successive Premier League away games, conceding just one goal.

A win against Tottenham will be the first time Chelsea will do a league double on Tottenham, since 2005/2006.

My prediction: It’s a tough game and a difficult ground to come to. A 2-1 win for Chelsea would be a very good scoreline.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
