One thing that could be said about Antonio Conte is that he isn’t the kind of manager that’ll bash his players in public, something we were all too familiar with last season under Jose Mourinho.
Since the Costa incident went public, the media has been curious to hear from the horse’s mouth about what transpired between the Chelsea manager and his star forward.
Conte failed to reveal much, and said he’d rather handle the issues in the dressing room.
He said: “If there are problems I prefer to solve them in the changing room – IF there are problems.”
Surely, we’ve gotten a manager who has the temperament and man management skills to last a decade at Chelsea.
