Chelsea had previously rejected a bid of £10 million for Asmir Begovic from Bournemouth, but it’s expected that the Cherries will be back again with another bid of £12 million for the Bosnian.
Reports suggest that Begovic is willing to leave Chelsea, as he has found game time hard to get, and Antonio Conte would be willing to let the Bosnian leave Stamford Bridge as long as he’s confident there is suitable cover, and a number of names have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent days.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have drawn a 3-man shortlist of goalkeepers that they could sign if Begovic joins Bournemouth. Celtic’s Craig Gordon, Diego Lopez and highly-rated Galatasaray shot-stopper Fernando Muslera are on Chelsea’s shortlist as a potential replacement for Begovic.
