Pedro was deployed in an unfamiliar role as a left wing-back against Peterborough in the FA Cup third round match, and the Spaniard was outstanding and was the best player on the pitch.
Pedro bombarded the left flank at will, recovered to help his defence and was dangerous and full of energy.
Speaking about the game and his position, Pedro said: “I had one chance in the first half which was unlucky, I shot very hard and it went up, but I’m happy to have scored two goals.
“It’s a new position for me but it means the same in terms of work. I had to run a lot but it was good for me and a good performance.”
