Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola suffered his heaviest defeat as manager in a league game as Everton trashed Manchester City 4-0.

The heavy loss to Everton means Manchester City are now 10 points behind Chelsea.

Guardiola admitted after the loss to Everton that the gap between Chelsea and Manchester City is great but he believes second place is achievable for Manchester City.

Guardiola said: “By the first one? Yes. Ten points is a lot of points. The second one is three points. We have to see.”

Every pundit celebrated the appointment of Pep Guardiola as boss of Manchester City and they all gave Manchester City the league even before the season started. No one believed Conte would take Chelsea this far but Conte has so far proved he is worldclass.
