It was Chelsea vs the world, and a very difficult game we could have won, but we got a very good draw and we are nine points clear at the top of the table.

See how the players fared:

Courtois: Made a very good save in the 10th minute from a Wijnaldum shot, to keep Chelsea in the game, following sustained pressure from Liverpool. Handled his post very well and looked pretty confident. 7.5/10

Azpilicueta: Yet another solid display from the Spaniard; he worked hard to keep Chelsea’s shape in defence. 7.5/10

Luiz: What a game to score his first goal for Chelsea since his return. Very powerful freekick from the Brazilian, and he overcame a first-half injury to help keep things solid at the back. 8/10

Cahill: Good game in defence, and to his credit, Chelsea’s centre was well protected, forcing Liverpool to go wide. 7/10

Kante: Very good and combative display from the Frenchman. He was all over the midfield, tackling, winning balls and protecting his defence. Very energetic display. 8/10

Matic: His passing at times was suspect, but he worked really hard in midfield against a very energetic and rampant Liverpool midfield. 7/10

Moses: Besides his poor recovery for the goal, Moses had a good game; worked hard on the flank, supported the attack on many occasions and ran back to protect his defence. 7/10

Alonso: Not his best game today, but he put in a good shift for Chelsea. 6.5/10

Willian: Had an okay first-half and went entirely missing in the second-half. Very average performance from the Brazilian. 6/10

Hazard: Started the first-half brightly, but many parts of the second-half went by him, and he was eventually substituted with about 20 minutes left to play. 6.5/10

Costa: Lacked service from the midfield until Fabregas’ introduction, missed a penalty that could have won the game for his team, but he worked hard for the team. 6.5/10

Subs

Pedro: He had about 20 minutes to impact the game, and he worked tirelessly for Chelsea, while also threatening Liverpool’s defence. 7/10

Fabregas: Came on with about 7 minutes left to play, and he made his impact felt with some beautiful passes. He helped Chelsea retain the ball better, and made the midfield tick under that short time. 7/10

Batshuayi: Came on in the 93rd minute.
