Branislav Ivanovic has since lost his place in the Chelsea team, and recent reports suggest he’s just hours away from completing a move to leave Stamford Bridge.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic is poised to fly to Russia this evening for final talks with Zenit St Petersburg ahead of signing a two and a half year contract with the option of a third year.

The 32-year-old will be allowed to leave on a free transfer with personal terms almost finalised.

Ivanovic lost his place in the team since Conte’s switch to a 3-4-3 system, and he’s one of the ‘Old Boys’ that’ll depart Stamford Bridge, after John Obi Mikel left for China just weeks ago.
