Diego Costa’s feud with Antonio Conte is probably the biggest story in football right now, and it has even made more headlines than Cristiano Ronaldo winning the Ballon d’Or for the fourth time, as well as the FIFA footballer of the Year award. Costa’s reported interest in moving to China even overshadowed Manchester City’s 4-0 loss to Everton on Sunday afternoon.
Costa and Conte are expected to have clear-the-air talks after the incident that made him miss the game against Leicester City, but reports already claim that he has made up his mind to force a move away from the club at the end of the season.
According to the Daily Express, the Chelsea striker has already told close pals he won’t be signing a new deal and he will be leaving in the summer.
With Chinese outfit Tianjin Quanjian ready to offer him £30 million per year, and Roman Abramovich unwilling to let Costa leave, all we can do is wait and see how this unfolds.
Chelsea made me love football than I love myself.
As a Chelsea fan, I might say let Costa’s will be done.
