Chelsea have accepted a bid worth £6million plus a further £4million in performance-related add-ons for Patrick Bamford, according to a report by Daily Mail.
23-year-old Bamford joined Chelsea from Nottingham Forest in 2012 for a fee of £1.5million but failed to make a single appearance for Chelsea.
Bamford spent the first half of the season on loan at Burnley but failed to start a single game for Burnley before he was recalled by Chelsea this January. He made just six substitute appearances for Burnley.
If his transfer to Middlesbrough is finalised, Chelsea would make a profit of £8.5million on the 23-year-old.
