Chelsea striker Diego Costa is willing to stay at Chelsea after the summer and reject the lure of moving to China.
According to The Sun, Costa wants Chelsea to double his pay to £300,000 a week. The Spanish international currently earns £150,000-a-week.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly not willing to be bullied into meeting Costa’s demands and will also not be forced to let the 28-year-old striker leave in the summer.
Abramovich is reportedly willing to improve on the previous offer of £200,000-a-week but will only go as far as offering Costa £225,000-a-week on a five-year contract.
If Costa signs the new contract, he would be tied to Chelsea until he is 33 years old.
Every Chelsea fan would be hoping Costa signs a new Chelsea contract as we don’t want to lose him.
plzz abrhamovic could u kindly do something about costa fo the fans
i am the chelseamania, the real one. am for chelsea and i am chelsea.
give him 225,000 per week and increase Hazard own to 300,000 per week.
Costa is a back staber…Abramovich don’t add him a penny….in fact let him go….Chelsea is bigger than any player….best players will come and go but Chelsea will remain Chelsea…..
I have had to deal with this kind of thing before…. Once a staff/colleague starts feeling like he/she is worth more than what he/she was is earning, it become very hard to keep her/him and eventually he/she will leave…i suggest you let him go…. We’ve had really good players before and so many other are just hoping to play for Chelsea
