The Diego Costa saga seems to be one that will continue until the weekend, and while reports emerged that the Chelsea striker was to have clear-the-air talks with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte yesterday, the Guardian revealed that no such thing happened.
According to the Guardian, Conte has no plans to hold clear-the-air talks with Costa. Rather, the Italian will only judge Costa based on his attitude in training.
Costa missed the game against Leicester City, and he had been seen pursuing his own rehabilitation schedule and worked outside at Cobham, for two days in a row.
According to the report by the Guardian, Conte isn’t interested in talks with Costa — all he wants to see is a positive attitude from the 28-year-old. Over to you Costa!
