Hull City’s Ryan Mason had a clash of heads with Gary Cahill, and the collision left the Hull City player on the ground receiving treatment for about 9 minutes. While Cahill recovered in time to continue playing, Mason had to be taken off and was eventually taken to the hospital.
Hull manager Marco Silva confirmed in his post-match media conference that the midfielder was taken to hospital following an accidental clash of heads with Gary Cahill during the match.
Conte wished Mason well in his post-match press conference. He said: “Everyone at Chelsea wants to wish Ryan Mason the best because it was a bad accident with Gary.
“Everyone at Chelsea, we hope to see him on the pitch very soon. I hope he recovers very soon.”
Nice show of sportsmanship from Conte.
