Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic wants to leave Chelsea before the transfer window gets shut on Tuesday night.
Chelsea will grant Begovic his wish to leave only if we are able to secure a replacement.
Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has been identified as a suitable replacement for Begovic but Celtic aren’t willing to sell.
I can understand Celtic’s tough stance on not selling Gordon in the middle of the season. Gordon is Celtic’s first-choice goalkeeper and no club would want to lose their number one goalkeeper in the middle of the season.
Signing Gordon is beginning to look like mission impossible for us but Chelsea aren’t giving up just yet.
According to Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports, Chelsea are making another attempt at Celtic’s Craig Gordon by submitting a bid worth £4million for the 34-year-old goalkeeper.

Will this amount be enough to get Gordon?
