Tammy Abraham has been tipped for greatness since his days in the Chelsea academy, and the 19-year-old striker has been in impressive form for Bristol City, having made 33 appearances in all competitions for the Championship side this season, scoring an impressive 18 goals.
He has revealed that Chelsea captain John Terry has been a massive role model in his career, and he’s constantly encouraging him.
He told the Mirror: “John Terry is a massive role model to so many youngsters and obviously he loves the academy.
“He’s always interacting with it, and he’s always talking to me as well.
“I think that’s what I need really, because he’ll send me a message saying ‘get yourself back on the score sheet’ or even if you’re not scoring, to work on your overall game and give 100 per cent every time you’re out there.
“It gives me confidence to know that he is there to support you.”
