Chelsea will be away to Liverpool on the 31st of January, and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois wants Chelsea to win the game against Hull City and extend Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table before the clash with Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Courtois said: “We just have to take it game by game but the most important thing is for us to go to Anfield [on 31 January] with the biggest gap possible.

“Saturday was a game where, if I’m sitting at home and one of our opponents is playing Leicester away, I’d think they could drop points, so it was very good for us to win the game, and win well.

“Now, at home against Hull we have to get the three points and then go to Anfield with this gap, because anything could happen there.”
