Everyone knows how remarkable N’Golo Kante was last season, and how he helped the Foxes win their first ever league title.
His absence has weakened Leicester City, as the Foxes are struggling this season. But then Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has suggested that Kante suits Leicester City more than Chelsea.
Stats however suggest that the Frenchman is actually at the right club.
When it comes to passing, he’s making many more forward passes – 37.95 per game compared to 24.49 at Leicester. In fact, he’s making way more passes in general, although that could be put down to Chelsea’s more dominant style in comparison to the counter-attacking Foxes that won the title. He’s making 61.58 passes per game compared to 39.08 at the King Power.
His pass completion rate is up – from 82% to 89%.
