Having started the previous match from the bench, Bertrand Traore returned to the starting lineup for Burkina Faso as they faced Guinea-Bissau.

Three points were at stake for Burkina Faso, and they just had to win to qualify for the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations.

The 21-year-old Chelsea youngster who’s currently on loan to Ajax, finished off a counter-attack calmly just before the hour to make the score 2-0. His goal ensured victory for Burkina Faso, and they are through to the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations.
