Two Chelsea players were in action for Ghana, as they won their opening game of the African Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars of Ghana defeated Uganda 1-0 Uganda in their opening match at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Christian Atsu and Baba Rahman featured for Ghana in the victory. While Atsu was threatening in the victory, Baba was stretchered off in the 38th minute, after having serious discomfort.

Former Blues interim manager Avram Grant led the Black Stars to the win, courtesy of an Andre Ayew penalty.

Baba Rahman is on loan to Schalke, while Atsu is on loan to Newcastle.
