Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed he isn’t concerned with catching Chelsea striker Diego Costa in the Golden Boot race.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealed his main aim is to beat Chelsea to the Premier League title this season despite Manchester United being 10 points behind Chelsea.

Diego Costa leads the way in the Golden Boot race with 14 goals while Ibrahimovic is joint second with Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

“No I’m not chasing anybody,”Ibrahimovic told Manchester United’s official website after he was asked if meeting Costa was his target ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Liverpool this weekend.

“I’m chasing the head trophy – the Premier League. That is my aim. The individual thing come as part of the main objective because that is like a bonus for every individual player.”
