Sean Dyche’s Burnley held Antonio Conte’s Chelsea to a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor on Sunday.
Arsenal legend Martin Keown hailed Antonio Conte and Sean Dyche as the best two managers in the Premier League after watching Burnley get a point against Chelsea at Turf Moor.
“The whole game was compelling stuff, very much so. They are the best two managers I think in the Premier League at the moment, Sean Dyche and Conte,” Keown told BBC’s Match of the Day 2.
“Two different styles, two different systems and Burnley really took Chelsea out of their comfort zone (on Sunday) and they worked their socks off but with intelligence and good quality.
“Conte knows his tactics, every player goes on to that pitch knowing his role but you have to say equally for Sean Dyche’s team, they did well as well and maybe we don’t shout enough about our English coaches.
“You look at the resources he has there and what he is achieving, four or five of those players went down before, he has come back this time and he is using that extra knowledge.
“He is using a system that I doubted at the start of the season, 4-4-2, but that was a tactical masterpiece today from the team.”
