Cesar Azpilicueta joined Chelsea from Marseille in the summer of 2012, just after Chelsea have won the Champions League.

The Spaniard shared a dressing room with Chelsea legends Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard before they left the club, and he revealed that they are very much his Premier League idols.

When asked to name his Premier League idols, Azpilicueta said: “Very much [Frank] Lampard and [Didier] Drogba.

“I like the way they played and even more so when I came here and I had the chance to have them in the dressing room.”

Azpilicueta has been ever-present and ever solid since he joined Chelsea and is well respected by his teammates and the Chelsea fans.
