Real Madrid playmaker Isco is a summer transfer target for Chelsea but Spanish giant Barcelona are aiming to steal the player from under the nose of Chelsea claims a report by The Sun.
Isco’s Real Madrid contract is reportedly set to expire in 2018 and Real Madrid are reportedly set to cash in on the midfielder this summer after contract talks stalled.
Barcelona are hoping to sign Isco from Real Madrid for nothing in 2018 – the same way they signed Luis Enrique from the Madrid club in 1996 by persuading Isco, 24, to snub a summer switch and not extend his deal.
However, Barcelona’s interest in Isco could play into the hands of Chelsea as Real Madrid will be willing to accept cut-price deal for Isco from Chelsea to avoid the playmaker joining the rivals Barcelona.
Manchester City and Juventus are reportedly interested in Isco.
