Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, has been second choice to Thibaut Courtois all season long, and has only kept in six games this season, all cup appearances.
The Bosnian was to allowed to leave Chelsea in January, after he announced that he wanted regular football. However, the move didn’t go through, as Chelsea couldn’t sign a replacement for him before the end of the summer.
But Begovic has put that behind him and insists he is now focused on helping Chelsea win trophies this season.
“It’s no problem,” Begovic told the London Evening Standard.
“I’ve been around the block so I have experience.
“If the club count on me and want me to stay here, I will stay and that was obviously the case [last month].
“I’m happy with that and hopefully I will lift a couple of trophies at the end of the season.”
