Many rumours have linked Chelsea with Real Madrid star, Isco. It’s been widely reported in Spain that Isco has a €40 million (£34.2 million) release clause.
The Sun claims that the Premier League leaders have contacted the midfielder’s agent to discuss a potential move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Isco has found game time hard to get this season under Zinedine Zidane, and is interested in making a switch to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old’s career runs out in the summer of 2018, and his statement tends to suggest that he might have to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
“I’m calm. What worries me is to have minutes,” he told beIN Sports.
“A player’s career is small.
“I’m happy here and would stay many more years.
“From now until the end of the season, we will make a decision. It is my future at stake.”
It’s reported that Manchester City are the favourites to sign him if he eventually leaves the Bernabeu.
